After I graduated from the University of Utah in Public Relations, I went to work for a few companies in their Public Relations and Marketing Departments until I realized that I really didn't enjoy all the writing I had studied in school :) But, I did LOVE the events and promotions I was planning in the PR world. Then, after planning my own wedding in 2006, I realized that I was actually very organized and LOVED the feeling after creating an enjoyable event. So, in 2007, I went to work for a local event production company and learned a ton about flowers and the actual design of an event. After almost 2 years, the company was forced to make "budget cuts" and I was laid-off. Which, brings us to NOW!
I do not have a website yet, so I plan to use this blog to show off some of my talents and to give you some insight on not only weddings (though there will be LOTS of that) but also tips and tricks for entertaining on your own.
